$109,000

One of the few remaining large tracts in the area, this wooded 10+ acre parcel near the scenic shores of Lake Barkley offers the best of both worlds -- exceptional privacy and quick access to recreational water sports and fishing, with lake access points, Bumpus Mills Marina and Bumpus Mills Campground less than one mile away. Build your dream home or weekend retreat on this corner lot offering more than 1,700 feet of road frontage. (About 900 feet of frontage off paved Forest Trail and roughly 800 feet off Skien Cove.) Or, subdivide the tract for future investment. The western side of the tract provides the best opportunity for potential winter water and sunset views and shallow drainage swales downhill toward the coves possibly provide a pond site. Less than 20 miles away is the southern boundary of Land Between the Lakes National Recreation Area, a family friendly recreation destination offering one of the largest contiguous blocks of undeveloped forest in the eastern United States, with 300 miles of natural shoreline and, for the outdoorsman, access to licensed hunts for deer, turkey and other small game.
